Company: Octaria

I led a complete transformation of Octaria agency's public image, including branding, web design, and marketing. We unified their diverse services like software development, fractional CTOs, and product management into a cohesive representation.

Project Brief

Octaria, a thriving software agency, is venturing into untapped markets within Houston's tech scene. Recognizing the demand, they expanded their services beyond development to include fractional CTOs, product managers, and UX design for startups. As they attract larger clients, the need to accommodate SMBs and enterprise companies emerged.


To align with this growth and modernize their image, they sought an updated identity.

In order to gauge the team’s vision, I created a voting system that allows stakeholders to express their taste for the next generation of Octaria. Each stakeholder gets a full vote and a half vote, signifying their top choice and runner-up.

For the first exercise I ask the question: On a scale of maximal to minimal, what does the future of Octarioas art direction look like to you?

Next, another scale to determine the attitude, on a scale from eccentric to sophisticated.

Next, I put together a moodboard of branding inspiration and let the stakeholders cast their votes.

From the moodboard, I narrowed down 3 distinct styles that we can follow

Sleek and Agile

“Sleek and Agile” gives Octaria a futuristic and bold coat of paint that makes a statement.

Expressive Explosive

“Expressive Explosive” shows off Octaria’s friendly, passionate vibe that is evident when clients meet the team.



New Age Classic

“New Age Classic” is a clean and timeless branding direction that is equal parts organized and powerful.

Making small alterations to the "expressive explosive" style choice, we were able to flesh out a new style launched July 10th.
